Sources of Unexplained Fever

bigstock_Boy_Horrified_By_Enormous_Brea_2264975Have you ever felt hot after eating and wondered why?

It won't be possible to figure it out from a matter science medical approach but the understanding is clear from a energy science point of view

When overeating occurs(defined as consuming more than 2 handfuls at a meal) the energy patterns of Vata, Pitta, Kapha, or combinations of them enter the bloodstream and push stagnant energy along with them And there will always be some congestion when overeating occurs no matter which energy pattern is involved

From a molecular point of view stagnant energy is lymph or chyle that sludges in the lymphatics of the gut

The digestive fire(collective term for all the enzymes in the GI tract) becomes ramped up due to the overeating challenge and it also becomes disseminated into the blood as well resulting in fever and an internal feeling of heat This can also result in mental events such as anger and impatience

The timing of the fever is related to which energy pattern gets shoved into the blood stream Kapha soon after eating; Pitta about two hours after eating; Vata four hours after eating Which energy pattern is pushed into the bloodstream is based on the types of foods consumed in the overeating event For example if a lot of sweet, sour, and salty tastes are consumed, Pitta and Kapha symptoms will predominate

Kapha symptoms of overeating are congestion, runny nose, cold and cough

Pitta symptoms result in high fever, temporal headache, nausea, irritability, photophobia, and diarrhea

With the Vata energy pattern entering the blood stream, shivering, body ache, insomnia, and anxiety can occur These can leave a residual flu like syndrome that can last a few days

Have you ever overeaten? Have you recognized any of the above symptoms? Do you remember what produced the overeating?

Nightshades

TomatoOne day I was telling a patient about how acidic tomatoes are and he told me of his own experience.

He related that he was driving aloing the interstate when he saw ahead of him a truck lying on its side on the highway. As he got closer he saw a lake of tomato sauce on the road and drove through it with a swish.

He drove on to the next pit stop for some gas and as he was fueling the tank his attention was drawn to the lower parts of the car and found that the paint was peeling off. Now what would that do in our stomachs? Heartburn for those predisposed and imbalance for the rest us who are provoked.

The tomato in concentrated form can be acidic enough that people "burp" their sauces to neutralize the acidity using baking soda.

Nightshades In General

The nightshade family includes tomato, potato, bell peppers, and eggplant. Other relatives are garlic and the onion. Yes, these are common bill of fare in the American diet but that doesn't make them healthy.

Nightshades contain 8 neurotoxins that our body has to detoxify when we consume them.

From an energy view probably none of us should be consuming the nightshades.  But they're cheap and quick so there we are. If we are seeking balance in our nutrition energetically, it would be helpful to look to see if tomatoes are in your nutritional format.

Take a look at foodsheal.com Take the test and find the nutritional format best suited for you.

Nutrition and Changing DNA

bigstockphoto_Dna_1913856Most matter field science has looked at the nervous system as a fixed physiologic and anatomic structure. But that concept is being challenged with a new concept called neuroplasticity. Now researchers are witnessing people who have had strokes and paralysis who are able to recover some function and in one reported case complete recovery.

Now another concept is beginning to emerge to challenge another medical sacred cow. That genetic expression is a fixed, unchanging and unyielding blueprint. In a journal article in September 2005, Dr Dean Ornish reported that patients with prostate cancer changed their genetic expression to tumor by altering their nutrition. Not only did their genetic expression turn off repressor genes but turned on important genes to combat tumor. Furthermore these patients increased their T killer cell response to tumor cells eight fold.

So a new biological concept is potentially emerging-genetic plasticity. And the remarkable cause of this genetic shifiting event was a change in nutrition!!

This molecular evaluation points to what the energy medical sciences have held for thousands of years. That one of the main pillars to health is nutrition and they built elaborate sophisticated systems around nutrition. This means not just what we eat but when we eat, where we eat, how we eat and why we eat. That is the interrogatories of eating.

This concept of genetic plasticity is just one more reason why we need to take a very hard look at how we deal with nutrition. And the energy medical sciences can give guidance to the matter field medical sciences as practiced today.

Body Odor and Flatulence

OoopsA patient was relating to me that when he talked with a matter field gastroenterologist about his problem of odorous flatus he got the response, "Oh everyone has a problem with that every once in a while."

While that may be true in part, the energy sciences have a lot to say about flatus and body odors for these symptoms are signs of energy stagnation in the mindbody.

And energy stagnation is a serious problem whether transient or constant. When energy becomes stagnant bacteria begin growing in these stagnant fields and produce noxious gases that then become manifested. Whether this is in the mouth with resultant halitosis, in the gut, or urinary tract with urinary tract infections, stagnant energy is a symptom that should not be dismissed.

So energy stagnation is a serious symptom of dysfunction and illness of the GI tract that can then disseminate to all areas of the mindbody physiology. Once this stagnation begins to disseminate to the far reaches of the tissues it is very difficult to eradicate.

And swallowing deoderant is not an option with odorous GI elimination.

“I Think I’ll Order the Inflammation Today”

bigstockphoto__Wait_Banner_3596076 Ordering from the menuAs I muse through the menu at my favorite restaurant, I can hear myself in the process of selection

"Hmmm, this looks particularly good-lots of congestion and inflammation there"

"Or maybe some cooling? Oh no no, that's not tasty enough"

"Well maybe just this time"

From an energy science view, the effects of the foods that we consume begin before we even put them in our mouths Does that sound surprising?

Our unconscious behavioral eating patterns begin in the mind so it makes sense that the health of our mindbodies bedome directed by our unconscious choices

This concept is so far removed from our current matter science or molecular approach which is devoid of being able to factor the mind in the equation of foods and their selection

Let's pause and consider that whatever we are putting in our mouths at any point in time has the ability to make us sick or bring about balance

We currently don't have the concept from our matter science model of healing that disease begins with the ingestion of taste(energy) If I'm a PK and snarfing down a banana I'm inflamming my physiology and asking for congestion

And is it wrong to have a banana? No, not from an energy science view The key as we have discussed in the past is to be aware of how the foods impact us from a sensory point of view

We intellectualize about foods from a matter science view but from an energy science view the ingestion of any food has the capability of teaching us more about ourselves

Have you had the experience of food making you feel bad? Did this become a recurring theme? Did it take a number of days before the ingestion of a particular food made you feel bad?

Dealing With Cheese Opiates and Agni

bigstock_Cheese_5582976The energy science can help us understand how to deal with this controversial topic about the potential addictive nature of opiates in milk

It makes sense that there is a sedative property in mother's milk or the human race would not be so advanced in numbers as it has become

Concentrated Forms of Opiates

Cheese is produced by acidifying milk and making a curd leaving the whey(watery protein) behind

The predominant protein in milk and therefore cheese is casein which if not completely digested will release in the gut as an opiate called casomorphin(BCM7) Opiates can produce a profound sense of pleasure

80% of cow's milk is casein Concentrated milk products(cheese, ice cream, milk chocolate) can have increased amounts of the addictive opiates or BCM7 proteins that link up to opiate receptors in the body, particularly the brain

Some interesting factoids

It takes 10 pounds of milk to make a pound of hard cheese(sour cheese)

It takes 3-4 pounds of milk to make one pound of milk chocolate A "chocoholic" is born

BCM7 is the powerful opiate held in any milk whether cow, buffalo, goat, or human Studies on cow's milk show that BCM7 is held to an amino acid named proline in A1 cows(tightly bound) and by histidine in A2 cows(loosely bound), so the latter can be more effective to produce the opiate effect

How about breads with gluten?

Interestingly gliadorphin from the digestion of gluten is similar to casomorphin both of which interact with opiate receptors in the brain, particularly those areas involved with speech and hearing, an important factor in children with autism, particularly if poor digestive fire is involved These byproducts of digestion will lead to exaggerated effects (ama in the energy science vernacular)

What To Do?

Bottom line: If you have a strong digestive fire, you'll deal with BCM7 early in the digestive process and more than likely won't be impacted by either form of milk, A1 or A2, or bread

If you have a poor digestive fire then either way BCM7 will be hanging around and an individual will potentially get the effects of casomorphin

So the energy science nutritional solution to the above, enhance digestive fire by:

If any heavy concentration of BCM7 is taken in on a day, avoid doing it again and again Allow the GI tract and the body to absorb the insult Don't pile on insult after insult after insult

If PK reduce the amount of dairy in your diet, avoiding the concentrated forms

Steaming or heating milk is a great idea

Never drink milk cold or with ice

Using a churan or a meal rich in cooling digestants or spices will help with digestion due to their impact on digestive fire

Using cardamom with warm milk helps digestionbigstock_Cheese_5582976

Eat a nutritional format that is conducive to your energy makeup and avoid poor food combinations
